other than that, fish and chips with vinegar and a cup of tea (or beer)!

Pizza and Cheeseburgers are tied in my book. I also like a lot of Mexican food, but pizza and hamburgers are my favorite fast food to eat when in a hurry. Probably because my parents rarely bought me any when I was small because it was bad for my health...

Either, steak or egg whites omlette with spinach.
To be honest there isn't much cuisine that is that nice from England in my eyes, besides probably crumpets, they don't half go down a treat. Not too keen on fish and chips though.Last edited by Moore; 03-05-2013 at 08:00 PM.

a high piece of meat that is warm but essentially raw on the inside.
mmmmmmm.......
But everything on its special occasion though. After a night of drinking me and my friends sometimes just turn on the fryer or make some (dafuq?! nederlanders, hoe vertaal je in hemelsnaam frikandellen, kroketten of tosti's naar het engels? xD)

As an American I feel obliged to say Burgers and Fries, but thats not true
Some quality Chicken Fingers with some nice Honey mustard will do it for me, sounds childish I guess but I just love itSua Sponte, Ultime Ratio Regnum, Liber De Oppresso

My bro is currently working in Germany and he said that tastes very good. I will have to try it someday.

My choice would have to be Fish & Chips. Almost any place you can get it from is usually good quality in Britain. I'm more of a dessert person though. Can't beat cheesecake or rhubarb crumble.

There's really no specific one dish I enjoy over my other favourites.
When it comes to fastfood here's what I usually get.
Pizza: Tuna and shrimps or döner kebab topping. (Yes, both are a thing here and kebab pizza is actually the most ordered pizza in Sweden)
Taco: Soft tortilla with either spicy minced meat or chicken, salsa, cheese, sour cream and mixed veggies.
Burger: Our local spicy Sambalburgare which has received lots of praise from around the whole country.
The one and only Vegabar's Sambalburgare.

Kebabpizza.

But for more traditional dishes I very much enjoy the likes of my grandparents fish soup and homemade meatballs.
Almost the same as my grandmothers fish soup.

Meatballs with God-tier lingonberry jam.

As for my nationality I'm Finnish but live in Sweden. It's quite nice getting to know different food cultures even if the Nordic ones are all quite similar across borders.Last edited by phreec; 03-06-2013 at 09:25 AM.

This thread is making me very hungry.
A full English breakfast is my fav brekie after a drink, minus the mushrooms (texture is all wrong imo)

My fav meal has got to be Fillet steak.

In any environment where there is power, there will be an abuse of that power.
