If you have already made 1 post on these forums, you have agreed to the terms below. If you plan to sign-up or continue to post, we suggest you carefully read what is laid out below.

These were rules that were set by YOU and YOUR peers, we expect nothing less but for you to follow them thoroughly.

General Behavior

1. You're expected to follow the rules
2. You're expected to respect every single moderator and site administrator.
3. If you see posts that do not obey the rules, please use the report-function.
4. Before creating threads you should use the search-function to look for similiar threads.
5. Use the edit-function to avoid multiple-postings.

Rules

1) Offensive language and swearing is accepted with some exceptions:
a. No excessive swearing.
b. Discrimination, threatening and vilification of others because of their race, sex, religion, nationality is not acceptable at all.
c. Attacks and/or harassment of other members is not acceptable.

2) Flaming, baiting and calling out site members/staff is strongly suggested against.

3) Trolling
a. Unacceptable in excessive form.
b. Discrimination, threatening and vilification of others because of their race, sex, religion, nationality is not acceptable at all.
c. Attacks and/or harassment of other members is not acceptable.

4) Spam
Spamming includes bumping, creating posts with the sole purpose of linking to another post, excessively communicating the same phrase, posting content irrelevant to the forum where the post is located, similar phrases, or pure gibberish, posting the same post multiple times, repeatedly posting the same topic in different places, 'in before the lock' posts or repeatedly posting images or smilies only.

5) Pornographic/Gore-related material
Pictures containing pornographic material or gore are not accepted and will lead to a permanent ban. Sexy pictures of clothed models (No see through clothings) are within the rules if they're posted in the Off-Topic-Section. The thread the pictures are posted in must be tagged with [NSFW] (explanation: Not Safe For Work)

6) Advertising
If you wish to advertise a product, website or event, you will first need the approval of the site administrator. Doing so without authorization will lead to the removal of all content involved and can potentially lead to the permanent removal of the user(s) involved.

7) Multiaccounting
Forum members are NOT allowed to use more than one account. If you wish to change your account-name you'll have to get in touch with an admin. Creating more than one account will lead to the permanent ban of at least one up to all of the accounts created.

8) Piracy and Warez
Discussing or posting links to Warez or pirated content is not acceptable. This includes any piece of pirated software or work, torrents and links to filehosters containing any of the before mentioned. Any post that does not obey this rule will be deleted and the creator of such post will be permanently banned. By United States law, MordorHQ.com, its host(s) and its partner(s) are obligated to cooperate with Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) Notices.

9) Malware
Linking to trojans, viruses, malware, scareware or any other piece of software with malicious intent will result in a permanent ban.

10) Gamehacks
Promoting gamehacks, aimbots or any other sort of tool that is connected with cheating is not acceptable. This is a gaming-community and cheating harms gaming; permanent ban.

11) Distribution of personal details
You're not allowed to post personal details of others and we strongly advise you to not post personal details of yours. Posts containing personal details will be deleted. This includes email conversations, Facebook post and private messages.

12) Sale or Trade of Goods
We strongly suggest against the sale or trade of goods on the site. If you choose to engage in said behavior, which involves the trade of currency, physical goods and/or digital content with other members, you are doing so at your own risk. MordorHQ.com is not and will not be responsible and/or liable for damages or loses that may or may not occur.

Warnings & Bans

All reports will be handled on a case by case basis. When you break the rules you and your fellow peers decided upon, be ready to suffer the consequences.

The point system laid out below is nothing but a general guideline. If you break any rule(s), you are open to punishment see fit by the site staff.

First Warning
Infraction #1.

Second Warning
Infraction #2.

Third Infraction
7 day ban.

Fourth Infraction
30 day ban.

Fifth Infraction
If you manage to get this far, you deserve nothing less; permanent ban account ban+IP ban.
