Luckily m60 was one of my first plats, back when it was OP, b4 nerfs. I hear ya on the noob tube platinum.. feel the same way as i'm currently seeking it.

What do you think is the most challenging Platinum? I feel it's probably either some of the semi-auto/1 shot shotties (870, Spas, Neostad), or Bolt Action sniper rifles (m24, sv98, m95) - but then again, i'm not much of a sniper.. Probably the toughest all imo, is the Light Vehicle platinum.. much respect to those who have earned that one!!!

Most challenging are always those weapons that don't fit your playstyle.

In BC2 sniper rifles are extremely versatile and deadly - so if you don't like sniping,
simply put an RDS on it and cause havoc in close quarter combat.
Majority of my M95 kills are from either noscoping up close or using an RDS.

Although stats don't show that, i had the most struggle with:
M60 - this bloody inaccurate monster
T88 sniper - that optics are insanely big and cover LOTS of the screen
M16 - as i felt that the 3rd bullet was always missing and i'd have won more firefights with full auto
M93-R - Inaccurate and weak: my nightmare
M14 - i always had the feeling that iron sights are off and extremely hitreg dependant

I have a paltry 4 platinums - an-94, mg36, mp443, and carl gustav, because i'm obviously very skilled.

Its the only gun that IMO is straight up pointless in BC2


Persoanlly the most annoying Plat i went for the Scar(i only ended up with like 800 on it),for whatever reason i could not hit a thing using the irons on it,amazing gun ith a 4x.But scopes are for teh nubs and i always had LW equiped

Easiest plat was the MG3(and that was after it was fixed/nerfed)

The T88 got actually 0 recoil.
You can easily spray 10 bullets over long distance with it and it will still hit the target.
It's an amazing LMG.

Good observation and excellent advice.. I have been hesitant to use RDS on the bolt action rifles for close quarters, but will give it a try.

Agreed the T88 LMG is deadly. ... ont he other hand, the Type 88 sniper rifle - that thing is a P.O.S.!

Annoying when i shoot 40mm shotty to his head (cling and blood effects), and before i can switch to primary or secondary he shoot me with 1 bullet and he still have 100hp.

I need to go an re-evaluate how I'm playing. He's getting a higher K/D and SPM than me, and I use guns! (How's his W/L, that would be interesting to see.)

Not sure but the guy was really legit. He made me feel weak as well haha

I think the worst gun for me too plat was the m14. It didn't really fit my playstyle. The SCAR just made me rage when I would shoot people first and lose the fight almost every time.

Okay, the T88 sniper is horrible because it's loud and optics block your view.
But F2k is a beast in close quarter.

Hated Hardcore in Bad Company 2. If you thought bush monster's were bad in Core they were just as bad in Hardcore mode.

Easily one my favourite weapons cling is awesome too, (it has same stats than M14 and T88 sniper, but has the best sound). I have headshotted guy from Arica beach to US (CQ) base hill with first shot!

16,000 kills with the M1 here. easily my favorite rifle. Here's a tip, aim at the chest for the first shot and your second should get them in the head, giving you a 2 round kill. the best part of that rifle is the RoF, if you're good at trigger discipline, you should hit your platinum soon.

Good tip as well, will have to try this... I got most of my Garand kills in Vietnam (600+ to go for platinum).

I've tried almost every gun in the game and the F2K was actually really decent. It was a headshot machine.
